Only two hours away from Iceland, visiting Greenland is something you should not miss. Kulusuk is an island situated on the East Greenland, which gives an authentic experience to the lives of the locals and the rugged landscape among the icebergs.

Duration: 8 Hours (about 4 hours in Kulusuk)

Walking Distance: 6 km/3,7 miles walk

The tour starts from Reykjavik Domestic Airport. You take the Kulusuk Flight and your guide will meet you in Kulusuk Airport when you arrive. You will walk with your guide to certain locations in the town, and listen from your guide about the nature and history of Kulusuk, as well as the customs and the living conditions of the locals. If the weather allows, you will also watch a drum dance, performed by a local in national costume. Sometimes it is possible to take a boat tour back to the airport (optional). You can get a stamp on your passport from the customs agent in the airport.

Please bring with you DKK cash as the possibility of using credit cards in Kulusuk are very limited and there is no ATMs.

A passport is required for travelling to Greenland.
