During your lake Myvatn day tour, you will visit the Skútustaðagígar craters that were formed by gas explosions when lava flowed over the wetlands. You will also see Dimmuborgir, where you find a huge lava field and very interesting formations. After a day full of different highlights, you return to Akureyri and catch the late afternoon flight to Reykjavík.
