Northern Lights tour with Fontana Geothermal Spa (from Reykjavik)

Make your dream come true and combine a glorious Northern Lights hunt with a relaxed Spa visit.

This Reykjavík Aurora tour is a great combo in order to make the most of your winter stay in Iceland.

After meeting with your group, you will drive to the famous Laugarvatn Fontana Spa in the countryside through the UNESCO site Þingvellir National Park. Bathing in the hot geothermal pool during a cold evening is the perfect way to relax your mind, body, and soul. The spa offers an incredible experience of the healing powers of the geothermal springs in the area. Soak in a natural bath, and listen to the bubbling hot spring in the steam rooms. The more adventurous travelers, can take a dip in lake Laugarvatn (when accessible) and cool down between the steam baths and sauna.

At Fontana SPA you have the chance also to have dinner or snacks at the local restaurant (food not included, must be paid on site)

On the way back to Reykjavík you will finally search for the Northern Lights. This particular phenomenon, also known as the Aurora Borealis, can be seen in Iceland during wintertime. They are normally green but can also appear in a variety of colors and intensity, dancing across the night sky. Good luck!

Please note: This tour depends on the weather and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Remember to bring a swimsuit and a towel. These items can also be rented for a small fee at the spa. If you don’t see any northern lights on the tour, you will have the chance to join a regular Reykjavík Aurora tour by bus, for free.

This Reykjavík Aurora tour with a spa visit is operated by one of our reliable partners.
