Mona originally hails from northern Germany. After attaining a degree in Psychology in 2016 she decided that life in Iceland would be much more exciting. Since then she has traveled the country extensively, has lived in the north as well as the south, and loves sharing her experience with others and creating unforgettable memories for them too. Her favorite things about Iceland are the ever-fascinating northern lights, the incredible remoteness of some places, and that there are hidden surprises around each corner. In her free time, she loves to go hiking, enjoys the hot tubs of Reykjavík‘s pools, and tries to keep her house plants alive through the dark winters.
