Ice Cave Iceland Tour - Super Jeep fun - Perfect for Families

This 2-hour tour will take you to Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull. Meet with your guide and the rest of your group at the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón. There you will board a huge super jeep and be provided with all necessary equipment for the exploration of the cave, such as crampons and helmets. In the meantime, you can ask your guide any questions you may have about the tour and the ice cave, before reaching the location.

After a 5-10-minute walk, you will reach the ice cave where you will have enough time to explore the cave and admire the blue colors in it. Prepare to be amazed by nature's beauty and the moulin of the cave, one of the highlights of this tour.

Important Note: This day tour comes with a Plan B! Sometimes the weather does not allow access to the ice cave. In this case, you will visit other cave-like formations such as glacier arches and moulins. Your guide will try to get you as close to the ice cave entrance as possible and you will do some hiking around the area to create a memorable experience. The drive in the large super jeep will also be a lot of fun.

Please note that in the event of bad weather that will not allow access to the cave, Plan B will be your tour for the day. We recommend you review the schedule of the backup tour. In case the alternative solution does not match your expectations and therefore you decide not to join the tour, the experience will be fully refunded.
