Ilulissat for 3 Days – West Greenland Holiday

Travel to Ilulissat ice fjord of Greenland and cruise around the giant icebergs on the fjord, 250 kilometers north of the arctic circle. Ilulissat is an amazing destination and easily reachable from Reykjavík – Iceland. The name of the village Ilulissat means: “the icebergs” in Kalaallisut, the native tongue of the Inuits and for good reason. On the fjord, you will see a maze of gigantic icebergs that have broken off the vast Sermeq Kujalleq ice sheet. This area was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2004, because of its uniqueness and unparalleled beauty. For an unforgettable arctic experience, it’s ideal to combine this three day Greenland holiday for example with our express Iceland in 8 days self-drive package.

We recommend booking a Greenland tour as early as possible as availability is limited and prices for flights normally raise during the year. Please note that the flights to/from Greenland are the most expensive part of this tour package. You can also add extra nights in Ilulissat to make the most out of your Greenland holiday.
