The coordination handled, so you can enjoy it
Someone always ends up organizing a group trip. Multiple rooms, multiple cars, multiple opinions, and one person holding it all together. Your Travel Consultant takes that job off your hands completely. Tell us what the occasion is and we'll build something that works for everyone.

Iceland works for groups in a way few places do
The scenery appeals to everyone. The activities range from relaxed to adventurous, so different energy levels in the group don't become a problem. Reykjavík is one of the best cities in Europe for a group night out, and the country outside it rewards the kind of road trip that becomes the story you tell for years.
Whale watching, glacier walks, geothermal pools, and the Northern Lights: the itinerary can be built around whoever has the most opinions in the group. Your Travel Consultant will ask the right questions and design something that gives everyone a reason to say yes.
Every itinerary is a starting point
None of the tours on this page are fixed. Your Travel Consultant can adjust the route, add activities suited to your group, or build something entirely from scratch around your occasion. The earlier you get in touch the better: groups benefit from 9 to 12 months of lead time to get the right combination of rooms and vehicles at every stop.

Frequently asked questions
Find answers to your questions about our tours and travel experiences in Iceland and beyond.
How many people can travel on an Iceland group tour?
Iceland Unlimited handles groups from 4 up to 20 people. Your Travel Consultant coordinates all the rooms, vehicles, and activities across the group. For larger groups, get in touch as early as possible — nine to twelve months of lead time gives you the best choice of accommodation and vehicles.
What kinds of groups travel to Iceland?
Hen parties, stag dos, milestone birthdays, reunions, corporate trips, and groups of friends are all common. Iceland works well for groups because the scenery appeals to everyone, the activities range from relaxed to adventurous, and Reykjavík is one of the best cities in Europe for a group night out.
Can we customize an Iceland group itinerary?
Every group itinerary at Iceland Unlimited is built around the people taking it. Your Travel Consultant will ask what the occasion is, what the group enjoys, and how active you want to be — then build something that works for everyone. There is no standard group package.
What is the best Iceland itinerary for a group?
It depends on what the group wants. A Reykjavík city base works well for shorter trips and groups that want nightlife alongside day excursions. The Ring Road suits groups who want to explore the whole country over ten days or more. Your Travel Consultant will advise based on your group size, budget, and interests.
How far in advance should we book an Iceland group tour?
Nine to twelve months ahead is recommended for groups. Iceland has limited accommodation in some regions and vehicle availability fills up quickly, particularly in summer. The earlier you get in touch, the more options your Travel Consultant can offer.
