Day 1: Arrival in Iceland & Reykjavík

Welcome to Iceland the home of the Northern Lights! Once you arrive at Keflavík International Airport, you will be welcomed by our private chauffeur, who will transfer you to your hotel in Reykjavík. If you arrive early we recommend you make the most of your day by visiting some of the wonderful sites the worlds northernmost capital city has to offer. Take a stroll down Laugarvegur shopping street with a selection of Icelandic designer boutiques. Explore the pearls of the city such as the Hallgrímskirkja Church, Perlan landmark, The Solar Voyager sculpture and Harpa – Music and Conference Center and visit the Aurora center by the harbour where the fascinating phenomenon we call Northern Lights is explained. Stay for the next 4 nights in Reykjavík.

Day 2: Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights

About your day

In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel for your private tour of the Reykjanes peninsula and its moon-like terrain. During the tour, you will visit Krýsuvík mud pots and Iceland’s oldest lighthouse at Reykjanestá. Afterward, you will get the opportunity to soak in the famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa and enjoy a 30-minute relaxing in water massage. In the evening you will join a private guided Northern Light tour, where you will get to chase these natural wonders around the crisp arctic sky along the beautiful south coast of Iceland. After, we hope, a successful Northern Light hunt, your driver will take you back to your accommodation in Reykjavík.

Day 3: Private Golden Circle Tour

Today you will be picked up by your private guide from your hotel for a classic Golden Circle sightseeing tour. First up is Þingvellir National Park. Þingvellir, with its beauty and its geological and historical value, was accepted as UNESCO’s heritage site in 2004. After exploring the treasures of the park, head south to see Geysir Spouting Spring and Gullfoss waterfall to complete the “Golden Circle”. Lastly, you will visit Kerið crater, that’s partially filled with crystal clear water. In the evening we recommend enjoying a delicious dinner at one of Reykjavík many gourmet restaurants with an opportunity to explore the vibrant Reykjavík nightlife.

Day 4: South Coast Adventure in a Superjeep

About your day

Today you will get to explore the south coast on a modified super jeep. This tour takes you to Gigjökull which is a glacier fall from the volcano Eyjafjallajökull. Your guide picks you up in the morning and in a small group, you will visit the beautiful waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Above the waterfalls, you can glimpse your eyes on the glacier where the great volcanic eruption took place in 2010, which caused great turbulence in Europe with its ashes. Your guide will leave the normal road and on the way to Gígjökull, you will cross a few rivers. Later you will also visit a black volcanic beach. Enjoy a lovely evening in the capital.

Day 5: Departure

This is your last day in Iceland! How time flies when you’re having fun! You will be transferred to Keflavík airport in time for your departing flight. If your departure is in the afternoon, you can either do some last-minute shopping or visit some highlights you missed in Reykjavík.
